Before you can log into cPanel, you must open your Internet browser.
This will work in whatever browser you are using. Click on your browser's address bar and enter the http address of your cPanel. The address of your cPanel would have been given to you in your welcome email from your hosting company. There are two ways to login to cPanel:
1)Using an IP Address
The only way to access cPanel if your domain hasn't propagated yet
It would look something like this- http://xx.xx.xx.xx:2082/
2) Using your Domain Name
Can only do this once your domain name is working (has finished the propagation)
This would be http://yourdomain.(com or net or whatever it is)/cpanel

N.B: Please make sure to avoid empty spaces(before and after the logins) when you are doing copy-paste the credentials that you have been given. They can cause the "Invalid login" error.

The steps to change your cPanel password are as follows:

Login to the cPanel
Click Change Password
In the box to the right of Old Password, provide your old password.
In the box to right of New Password, provide the new password. This password should contain uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as numbers and non-numeric symbols. (example. aB3#$f^&G*1) In the box to the right of New Password (again), provide the password once again for verification. Do NOT uncheck the box for "Allow MySQL password change". (This does not reset any passwords for your database users; rather, it keeps you able to login to phpMyAdmin via cPanel.) Click the Change your password button.
You have now just changed your password. Before you proceed, you will be prompted to log back into cPanel..
